FAQ

What do I bring?

Bring clothing that excites you, a playlist of your go-to music, and chapstick. I'll provide more detailed info about this in your confirmation email.

Can I shave during the shoot?

Absolutely!

Am I required to use a hair and makeup artist?

No. I encourage you to do whatever makes you the most comfortable. It is often helpful to have a HMU artist in the room advocating for you and making you feel your absolute best, and if it is in your budget, I wholly support it. If you choose to use a HMU artist, I am happy to send you info for the incredible artists that I work with.

What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy?

I require a $100 deposit to confirm your booking date. This is non-refundable, and is credited towards the total payment of your session. By cancelling your shoot, you forfeit your original deposit. If you need to reschedule a shoot, you may do so at least 7 days before your original booking date with no fee. If you reschedule within 7 days of the original date, an additional non-refundable deposit of $100 is required to confirm the new booking date.

How soon will I receive my gallery of images?

Expect to receive your gallery within 3 weeks of your session date. If you need an expedited gallery, I can send within 48 hours for a $100 rush fee.

Can I purchase additional edits?

Always! Extra retouches are $35 per photo.

What if I want headshots AND portraits?

Looking for both headshots AND portraits? No problem. A mini portrait add-on is available with all headshot packages. If you are looking for primarily portraits, check out this page for portrait info and pricing. If you want a true combo, send me a message and we’ll curate the best package for your needs! I am always here for any questions.

What's the difference between portrait sessions and modeling digitals?

Great question! See this page on modeling digitals.

Basically, digitals are a model's slate. They are quick 20 minute sessions where models showcase themselves in their most natural state. Therefore, these images have no retouching, display very little to no makeup, and are shot with simple light in front of a white or neutral backdrop.

Portrait sessions are where we get to be creative and think outside the box. You bring your ideas and I'll bring mine. We can change lighting styles, backdrops, posing, props, add makeup, and finalize with retouching. Portrait sessions are where we can break all the rules. If you are interested in a portrait session, this page is for you!
